The Studio
Drift is an architecture and interior design creative studio based in Lake Stevens, serving the greater Seattle area.

Our Philosophy
We believe the best spaces come from intention — a clear understanding of how a room will be used, then design that makes it feel effortless. Our work is fluid and dynamic, balancing architectural rigor with warmth and livability.
Whether it’s a single kitchen or a ground-up multifamily building, we bring the same care to every square foot.

Founder & Principal
Jen is the founder and principal of Drift — a Washington State–licensed architect and Syracuse University graduate with more than a decade of experience in multifamily and high-end residential design, including six-plus years in New York City.
An IIDA member who has built interior design departments from the ground up, she leads every project with a rare dual fluency: the technical precision of architecture and the curatorial eye of interior design.
What Guides Us
Design decisions follow function. We start with how you’ll live, then shape space, light, and material around it.
A licensed architect’s understanding of structure and code, applied even to interiors, kitchens, and baths.
Rooms that are as easy to live in as they are to love — refined, durable, and personal.
About Us
Jen leads a small, mighty team — plus a couple of four-legged supervisors.
Grew with the studio from intern to our most senior designer — and helps hold us all together on every project.
Our executive assistant and permit-management extraordinaire — the one who keeps projects, paperwork, and jurisdictions on track.
The drafting team turning vision into buildable drawings — we couldn’t do anything without them.
Our German shepherd (Jasper) and corgi (Arthur) — on hand daily to make sure no one sits still too long.
Visit the Studio
Our space is fun, welcoming, and comfortable. Come by for a cup of coffee, hold a design meeting, meet with a client, or just browse what we can offer. It’s a showroom of our preferred vendors’ furniture, tile, cabinetry, and countertops; an active design studio; a staging warehouse; and — in our humble opinion — a pretty great coffee shop (with the occasional weekend mimosa bar). We’ve hosted small and medium events here, too, and we love sharing the space with our friends, realtors, and clients. Stop by.
