Virtual Design is our online interior design service — e-design for furniture and styling, available anywhere in the United States. You send us the measurements, photos, and video of your home; we meet twice on Zoom and send back concepts, boards, and a full shopping list.

How It Works
Before we talk
Detailed measurements, photos, and video of the house come to us in advance, so the first call starts with us already knowing the space.
30-minute Zoom
We get familiar with you and the home, hear how you live in it and what you want it to feel like, talk through your budget, and explain how the process runs from here.
In our studio
We develop the design concept and build boards for your rooms, then select the furniture and styling pieces to fit your measurements and budget.
60-minute Zoom
We present the concepts, boards, and selections, walk you through them piece by piece, and take your reactions and requests.
Within 7 business days
We revise the selections from your feedback and send the full shopping list within seven business days of the review.

Required in Advance
Because we never see the house in person, the design is only as good as what you send. All three are required before the kickoff Zoom.
Accurate dimensions of the house and each room we’re furnishing, so every piece we select fits.
Clear photos of each room, including anything that’s staying in place.
A walk-through video, so we can see how the rooms connect and how the light moves through them.

Your shopping list is built from our wider network of vendors, so every item on it is one you can order on your own, on your own schedule.

We place the orders through our trade-only vendors and pass our trade discount along to you wherever we can. With some vendors that discount is much larger, thanks to curated relationships and trade-sourced connections.
In the greater Seattle area, we can provide the install ourselves.

You send us detailed measurements, photos, and a video of your home. We meet on a 30-minute kickoff Zoom to talk through how you live, your budget, and the process. We then develop the design concept, build boards for your rooms, and select the furniture and styling pieces. On a 60-minute Zoom we review everything with you, and within seven business days of that review we send your revised, full shopping list.
No. Virtual Design is done entirely online, so we work with clients anywhere in the United States. Our studio is in the Seattle area, and in-person procurement and install services are offered there.
Design-only packages start at $900. Packages that include procurement, where we place the orders for you, start at $1,750. The final fee depends on the size of the home and the rooms included.

Yes. Online interior design, virtual interior design, and e-design are different names for the same kind of service: a designer plans your furniture and styling remotely and delivers the design and shopping list to you digitally.
No. Virtual Design covers furniture and styling only. Paint color selections and accent wall designs are available as add-ons. Remodeling, construction drawings, and architecture are separate services.
Yes. With a design + procurement package we send a full list with final pricing, you pay the invoice in full, and we place the order for every item within 24 hours. We order through trade-only vendors and pass our trade discount along wherever we can.
We either coordinate with a warehouser and installer local to you, or have everything shipped directly to you for install. In the greater Seattle area we can provide warehousing and installation ourselves.
When we place the orders, we pass along our trade discount where we can. With some vendors that discount is much larger because of long-standing trade relationships.
After the selections review call, you receive your adjusted, full shopping list within seven business days. The time before that depends on how quickly we receive your measurements, photos, and video and schedule the two calls.
